Well, Labor Day weekend was a beautiful weekend here in Chicago. It was low to mid 80's with a slight breeze, every so often.
We started the weekend off watching football, of course. ND did not look that great in their first game of the season but UGA did! Minh says it's a "rebuilding year." We'll see...
On Sunday, Sieu, Liz & Mike (Minh's brother & friends) came to Chicago. They were in town for the game. Liz wanted to walk Michigan Ave. and I had to be a good hostess so we dragged the boys to downtown to shop. Liz was the only lucky one at Gap. Then we look them to a local italian place to eat where you can't understand the owner because he is SOOO Italian. We left there and walked to our new t-house to show them it. (Pictures to come later after we close).
Sunday, as you can tell we went to the Zoo. Perfect day to see the animals. But I think the polar bear in the water had the best idea on how to spend the afternoon. Their water is 55-60 degrees! BRRRRRR! The monkey house was the second place to be- those things were jumping around everywhere- they never slowed down. Sieu even spotted one with 1 arm. Pretty cool!
Hope this weather stays around for a while!
