Happy Memorial Day!We had another road trip this time with the Morgans. We headed to South Haven, Michigan. Jen had found a great cottage for us to stay in. When we arrived on Saturday, it was cloudy so we walked to the downtown area and saw boats and got a bite to eat. Then we headed to the beach. They had a great playground area close to the lighthouse.
The next day started out couldy again so Minh & I headed to Saugatuck, about 30 minutes north. CUTE TOWN! Lots of little shops and great places to eat. Art work was everywhere. I loved this little guy asking "Who's responsible here?" If you look closly at the picture of the roof, you will see a black squirrel. They are everywhere but they aren't gray- but black with black or brown tails. They almost look like cats or very small bears because they are so dark.
The sun started coming out so we headed back for some beach time. Minh enjoyed building sand castles and trying to get enough water in the moat. That night we ate at The Thirsty Perch. We ate so much we needed to walk it off so we walked back to the water area. Then to a great ice cream store. Then the sun went down so it was time to head home.
It was a great, relaxing weekend with the Morgans.
