Johnny was filming on our street again. The movie is Public Enemies and he plays John Dillinger. A few weeks ago he was taping off Lincoln Ave. and they re-did the fronts of all the buildings to look old.These pictures were taken from our roof top.
There's a broad look of the whole area. Then one of the art gallery they made into Marker's Cigar Shop. That's were they had indoor scenes.
Johnny is in the dark gray shirt with the black hat, sunglasses and gun holster. My neighbor had binoculars and we got to see him up close to confirm it was really him. He's missing a tooth on the upper right side of his mouth!
These are taken during the actual taping. Sorry the sun was shining in our view so there a bit blurry.

These are from after the scene. He is leaning up against the iron supports. Then he is having his coat taken off by an assistant. Then talking to others in the area.
These were the type of cars they were using. Johnny's was a light tan color. There were about 8 of these cars on our street. They were SO loud when they were running.
It was a fun day to be celeb spotting.
